Kenneth Kirschbaum, age 64, of Fennville died Thursday, October 16, 2014 at his home.

Ken passionately attended Community Church of Douglas where he participated in the Men’s group, Bible Study with his wife Julie and was involved in the Safety Committee. He was a member of the Lakeshore Arts Alliance where he most notably performed Groucho Marx.

Ken was a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Graphic Arts. He was a third generation printer in a family owned a printing business. Ken was an expert in the field who treated his co-workers with incredible respect. Ken was a very loyal and intelligent person. He retired from Gilson Graphics in 2013. He was preceded in death by his brother Louis Kirschbaum.

He is survived by his wife Julie of 25 years whom he loved beyond reason;

mother: Gladys Kirschbaum of Largo, FL; sister: Jodi and Joel Laxer of Roslyn, NY; sister-in-law: Denise Kirschbaum of Florida; nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Community Church of Douglas 6487 Wiley Rd. (physical address).

Dr. Daniel Miller will be officiating.

Burial will be in the church memorial garden at a later date.

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 1:45 pm prior to the service at the church.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Community Church of Douglas.
