Gertrude A. Henneman, age 101, of Douglas passed away, Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Carolina Manor in Appleton, WI.
Gertrude was born in Chicago, IL on February 24, 1913. She was the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Eiter) Delke. She and her late husband, Raymond S. Henneman, were married on July 27, 1929.
Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond S. in 1976 and a son, Raymond F., 2005.
Surviving is her daughter, Marcia G. Lefler; daughter-in-law, Betty Henneman; 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held, at 10 am Saturday, October 25, 2014, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 100 St. Peter Drive, with Father Michael Danner officiating.
Burial will be in Douglas Cemetery.
Visitation will be 9-10 am, Saturday, October 25, 2014, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church or a charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Home-Saugatuck Chapel.
