Grace C. Jappinga, age 99, of Douglas, died Friday, October 10, 2014 at Grace of Douglas.
Grace was a member of Trinity Reformed Church. She was a Registered Nurse for many years retiring at the age of 74 yrs. old. Grace enjoyed crafting and needle work. She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick Jappinga Sr. in 1996.
She is survived by her children: Sara Spiece of West Olive, Jane and Richard Bolt of Redmond, OR, Frederick Jappinga of Ocala, FL, Jeffery and Elaine Jappinga of Dale City, VA; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Dykstra Funeral Home – Mulder Chapel 188 West 32nd Street in Holland.
Reverend Chris DeGraaf will be officiating.
Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Cremation has taken place.
