James Barrett

James John Barrett was born 10/25/35 to Charles and Margaret Barrett in Plainwell, MI. James passed away 9/20/14 surrounded by his partner Ben Gray and loving family, peacefully at their home. He graduated Delta Chi at WMU and entered into the Military in 1957. Where he spent his time in Germany. James owned and operated Rideau Interiors of Plainwell, MI for 40 years. Much of his work can still be seen throughout the community today. James was preceded in death by his partner Kenneth McCarthy of 30 years. Jim is survived by his sister Charlene (Jack) Wood and brother Charles (Carol) Barrett. Nieces and nephews Cindy Stickley, Charles Barrett Jr., Cary Barrett, Kristy Gudo BBA, Brian Wood, Randall Wood, Kirk Stephenson. With a host of loving great nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held in Spring 2015. Any donations can be made in Jims honor at the Humane Society of Allegan.
