Surrounded by her loving family, Ann Bertermann, age 89, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 at her residence. Ann was born in Painesdale, Michigan, July 10, 1925, daughter of the late George and Anna (Nee: Sechan) Pleshe.

In 1946 Ann was united in marriage to Robert P. Bertermann who preceded her in death, August 19, 1996. She was a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Ann was an avid Packer fan who also enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, and hosting the family holiday parties. Most of all, she was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her children, Sandra (Gordon) Bradshaw, Kathleen (Gary) Greeley, James (Sheryl) Bertermann; her grandchildren, Allison (Matt) Schmidt-Palmer, Michael Bradshaw, Kimberly Bertermann (fiancé, Jesse Nickrand), Robert (Val) Bertermann; her great-grandchildren, Avery, Luke, Colin and Camden;step great grandson, Corbin; loving cousins, Norman Bertermann, Patricia Bertermann; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Pleshe.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2014, 11:00 A.M. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 510 Kewaunee Street, with Rev. Jack Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Tuesday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to St. John’s Lutheran Church or to a charity of your choice have been suggested.
