Marvin E. Crowner

CROWNER , Marvin E Marvin E. Crowner, age 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday, September 11, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Evert and Cora Crowner; his sisters, Margie Coulson, Eleanor Hollis, Marcia Brunson, Erwin Crowner, and his grandson, Steven K. Rose. Marvin will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Sharon Crowner (Clay); his children, Terri Mosley, Clay Crowner; his grandchildren, Jason Rose, Krystal Crowner, Cody Crowner; four great-grandchildren; his brother, Edwin (Phyllis) Crowner; his brothers-in-law, Dan Hollis and Dick Coulson; very special friends; many awesome nieces and nephews; and a wonderful church family. Marvin enjoyed adventure when he was younger; he had his pilot's license, went scuba diving, rode Harley Davidsons and went camping. He was also an entrepreneur, starting many side businesses during his 42-year career with the railroad at CSX. Funeral services will be held 6 PM Monday, September 15, at Cook Memorial Chapel in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW (east building), with visitation prior to the service beginning at 4 PM. Rev.
