Marion was born on June 21, 1929 in Morris, IL to Guy Leslie Osmanson and Frances Hynds Blasingham Osmanson. She was a graduate of Morris Community High School and attended Macmurray College in Jacksonville, IL. She married Wayne Dee Howser June 4, 1949, who passed away exactly one year earlier - on September 10, 2013.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Lee James Osmanson. She is survived by her daughter Pamela Howser Wolak (Francis) of Hendersonville NC, son Russell Howser of Portage, former daughter-in-law Stella Chivikas of Portage, granddaughter Colleen Wolak of Reston VA, grandson Patrick Wolak (Amber) of Escalon CA, grandson Ryan Howser of Portage, and great-granddaughter Skylar Wolak of Escalon CA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. There will be no services. Arrangements are being handled by Life Story Funeral Home in Portage. Condolences may be left at www.lifestory.com.
