Edna Mae Moodie, age 96, of Holland passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014 at The Inn at Freedom Village.

Edna was a member of Rose Park Reformed Church. She was a lifetime member of the Holland Country Club and a member of the Emblem Club. Edna was artist and enjoyed oil painting and knitting. She loved being around the water. She was preceded in death by her first husband Arnold Overway, second husband J. Frank Duffy and Eldon Moodie.

She is survived by her children: Wayne and Micky Overway of Holland; Spark Overway of Holland; step-daughter: Luanne and Harlan Sorensen of Georgia; grandchildren: Tim and Emily and Overway of Holland; Mike and Brenda Overway of Holland; Tammy and Jon Nienhuis of Sheboygan, WI; Juliet and Craig Williams of Southlake, TX; 9 great grandchildren; sister-in-law: Katie Rosendahl of Holland; many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Dykstra Funeral Home – Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue in Holland. Pastor’s Carl Balk and Jon Nienhuis will be officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
