Larry White

On August 28, 2014 Larry Timothy White passed away peacefully. He was born on May 16, 1953 in Fostoria, OH to the late Jezrel and Vella White. Larry earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from WMU and was employed by Kalamazoo County Government for 23 years with the Head Start Program. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Kathi, three sons, Joe, Jezrel, and Nathan; three brothers, Andrew (Tina) Jackson, James White, and Rev. Conley (Barbara) White and one sister, Anita White along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held at Whitley Funeral Home, 330 N. Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI on Tuesday, September 2 from 12 noon until 7 p.m. with a scripture service at 6 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 936 Lake Street, Kalamazoo, MI on Wednesday, September 3 at 11 a.m. with Msgr. Michael Hazard officiating. Interment at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the family for expenses would be appreciated.
