Nicholas Sprau

Passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Nick was born July 30, 1995 in Kalamazoo to James, Jr. and Shelly (Messer) Sprau. He was a graduate of Portage Central High School where he ran track, played football, and was on the bowling team. Nick was employed with Precision Printer Services and enjoyed playing music, especially his guitar and keyboard. He also enjoyed art, and making films and movies. He is survived by his parents, Jim, Jr. and Shelly Sprau; brothers, Michael (Kristen) Cooley, Shaun (Chelsea) Kibler, Matthew Sprau; grandparents, Jim (Barb) Sprau, Bettie May, Glenda (David) Swander; two nieces and a nephew; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Michael Messer. A memorial gathering to celebrate Nick's life will be held Thursday, September 4, from 4-7 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E.
