Betty Klaasen

Betty J. Klaasen, age 85 of Grand Rapids, passed away July 27, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Arthur; children Ron & Marilyn Klaasen, Mike & Jane Klaasen, Ruth & Steve Wiley, John & Shari Klaasen, Don & Vivan Klaasen, David Klaasen and friend Sherry, Dan & Mary Klaasen, Art Klaasen and friend Shelly; 28 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren; brothers Jim Bodbyl and Al & Virginia Bodbyl; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Ralph Koll, Lucille Klaasen, Dorothy Koll, George and Micki Klaasen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Bodbyl; sister, Marge Bodbyl; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Tillie Bodbyl, Dorothy Bodbyl, Jean Koll, Andy Klaasen and Henry Koll. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30 at 10 AM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home - Van Strien Creston Chapel, 1833 Plainfield NE where friends may visit with her family on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
