Carol Dyer

Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the age of 53. Carol was born in Paw Paw, MI on March 4, 1961, the youngest of four children in the Carl Whiteman family of Lawrence, MI. Carol attended Lawrence High School where she was a cheerleader and homecoming queen. She loved to spend time with her grandson, Hunter and enjoyed working with the elderly, gardening and collecting antiques (spending many joyous evenings at The Emporium with dear friend Bob Medema). She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jamie J. Dyer and Jack, their 16 yr. old Jack Russell Terrier; her daughter, Krystal (Justin) Ellis of Bloomingdale and their son, Hunter; her mother-in-law, Virginia Dyer; her parents; two siblings and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, William Dyer and a brother. According to Carol's wishes cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
