Marylin Hubley, age 71, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away July 21, 2014 at Borgess Hospital with her family by her side. Marylin was born November 17, 1942 in Norwood, MA. She graduated from Concord High School and attended Northeastern University in Boston. On September 28, 1963 she married the love of her life Larry Hubley in Concord, MA. They shared a happy and eventful life together for over 50 years. Marylin was devoted to her family and she was a consummate reader, enjoyed scrapbooking, hiking and camping. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she always looked forward to being surrounded by family. She loved to bake and made delicious pies. She had a terrific sense of humor even in the face of adversity. Marylin loved the Lord and spent many hours in prayer. Her unwavering faith touched many lives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Karen (Brian) Merrow, Janet (Bob) Myers, Brenda (Chris) Garner and Peter (Ursula) Hubley. In addition she is survived by 11 grandchildren; and one great-grand-daughter. A Celebration of her life service will be held on Saturday, July 26th, at 10:00AM in the Kiva at Friendship Village, 1400 North Drake Rd. Kalamazoo. Visitation will follow immediately after the service until 1:00PM.
