Terisa Whitney

Terisa Whitney, died Monday afternoon July 21, 2014 at her residence. Whitney was born March 20, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois a daughter of David and Elizabeth "Toni" (Tabor) Barbera. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed as a dental assistant for many years. Terisa was also a member of New Victory Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her longtime companion, Greg L. Baldwin of Vicksburg; three children, Coy Davison of Michigan, Jodee Davison of South Carolina, and Wesley Davison of Portage; eight grandchildren; a brother, Scott (Kay) Barbera of Bellevue; a sister, Tina (Rick) Meier of North Carolina; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held 2 o'clock, Saturday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Private burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the New Victory Life Church.
