Edwin "Buzz" Harvey

Harvey, Edwin (Buzz) passed at home on July, 21, 2014 at the age of 80. Formerly of Rapid City, SD, Buzz passed away in Waukesha, WI while residing with his daughter, Jan Lambert (Harvey) and her family. Buzz was born on a farm outside of Gettysburg, SD on November 30, 1933. He graduated from McLaughlin High School and moved to western South Dakota and began a career in construction. He worked in construction for 60 years and contracted with many different General Contractors in the Rapid City area. He spent 56 years with his loving wife, Marla, with whom he shared three children. Phil Harvey of Rapid City, Jan Lambert (Harvey) and Ed Harvey of Rapid City. He has 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and three sisters and one brother. The family will greet friends and family at a memory service at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 910 Soo San Drive, Rapid City, SD on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 3 pm. Please bring any photos or stories you would like to share. The family thanks the loving staff of Prohealth Care Home Hospice Waukesha, WI, especially our nurse Karla, for all of their love and care during his journey home.
