Dorothy J. Victor

On Tuesday, July 22, 2014, Dorothy J. Victor, age 83 of Holland, entered into Eternal rest with her Lord and Savior.

Dorothy was born in Decatur, MI, and moved to Holland as a young adult. In 1947 she married Leonard Victor Sr. She worked as a sales clerk at French Cloak Dress Shop for several years. Dorothy was a longtime member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her sister Barbara Marcinkus.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years Leonard Victor Sr. of Holland, son Leonard Jr., Linda Victor and grandson Leland Victor of Cooper City, Fl. Also surviving are in-laws; Leonard Marcinkus of Holland, Walter Jr. and Mary Ann Victor of Holland, and Lillian Flamboe of Holland, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Officiating will be the Revs. Fred Hoesli and James Vander Laan. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 7-9 pm with wake prays at 8:30 pm at the Downtown Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes Inc 29 East 9th St. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
