Loving mother and grandmother passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the Wings Home in Allegan at the age of 67. Sherry was born in Kalamazoo on September 12, 1946, the daughter of the late Charles McQueer, Sr. and Ruth (Waite) McQueer. She was a very loving person who loved to spend time with her family and worked as a child care provider. Surviving are two sons, Greg (Jodi Schmidt) Pallett of Martin and Rodney (Kelly) Pallett of Comstock Park; two grandchildren, Noble and Honor Pallett; five siblings; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit with the family from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the Langeland Family Funeral Home, Memorial Chapel, 622 South Burdick Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49007. Following the visitation a graveside committal will take place in Riverside Cemetery officiated by Pastor Greg Carlson. Memorial contributions may be given to Wings of Hope Hospice in Allegan.
