Louise Mihelich

Louise, age 93, passed away Friday morning, July 18, 2014 at her home. Louise was born Nov. 13, 1920, the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Catherine (Gozedecki) Kowalski. Louise managed the family farm, was an excellent cook and enjoyed playing bingo. On April 12, 1948 in Paw Paw, Louise was united in marriage to William E. Mihelich who preceded her in death on October 31, 1975. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, James and Thomas Kowalski. Surviving are two sons, William J. (Peggy) Mihelich and Donald J. (Lorri) Mihelich, both of Paw Paw; daughter, Cindy (Paul Schultz) Mihelich of Paw Paw; three grandchildren, Stephen (Denise) Holden of Paw Paw, James Mihelich of Paw Paw and Angela (Josh) Reinitz of Battle Creek; brother, Tony Kowalski of Paw Paw; two sisters, Cecilia Bain of Paw Paw and Theresa Day of Baroda, MI; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Sunday, 5-8 PM at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a Rosary will held Sunday evening at 7:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 21, at 11 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Paw Paw. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Paw Paw.
