BLOOMSTROM, JOYCE Sparta Joyce Esther Bloomstrom, age 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles (Chuck). They were life-long residents of Sparta. She spent many years working at Sparta State Bank. Joyce and Chuck enjoyed antique cars, tours, parades and car club outings. She enjoyed traveling, camping, square dancing, painting and spending time with her friends. She was a lifelong member of Mamrelund Lutheran Church. She is survived by her brothers, Jim Champman and Don Barnes; children, Carolyn and Duanne Roberts, Robert Bloomstrom; grandchildren, Amanda and Erjon Ahmeti, Justin and Tabitha Roberts, Natasha and Norm Buursma, Bobbi Jo and Omar Famada, Joseph Bloomstrom; three great-grandchildren and two more on the way; several in-laws, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at Mamrelund Lutheran Church on Saturday, July 19, at 11 AM with Rev. Leonard Dahlgren officiating. Interment Fairplains Cemetery. Friends may meet the family at the Funeral Home on Thursday, 7-9 PM and on Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM and on Saturday at the church one hour prior to the service.
