Donald L. Adams

Passed away on October 17, 2005 at Rose Arbor Hospice. He was born March 7, 1925 in Decatur, MI, the son of Otis and Mabel (Sturr) Adams. He attended Decatur High School and served in the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II. He married Beryl Davis October 17, 1952. Donald retired from Eaton Corporation in 1983. Survivors are his wife, Beryl; two sons, Scott Adams and Rory Adams of Kalamazoo; two daughters, Tracy Adams of Bolingbrook, IL, and Julie (Fred) Smith of Mattawan; two grandchildren, Alaina Smith and Adam Smith; a brother, Glen Adams of Coldwater. He was preceded in death by two brothers; two sisters; and a granddaughter, Erin Smith. As requested by the deceased, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday, October 22, 2005 from 2-4 p.m. at REDMOND Funeral Home 4100 S. Westnedge - 343-6156. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rose Arbor Hospice or a charity of your choice.
