Obituary
Curtis Adams of Burlington passed away Wednesday morning, May 30, 2007 at Oaklawn Hospital, Marshall.
Curt was survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary (Trumble) Adams and his four children: Cynthia (Marshall) Douglas Riggs, Rita (Marshall) Raymond Lipscomb, Faith (Adams) Randy Ludwick, and Phillip (Adams) Swafford.
Curt was also survived by his beloved grandchildren: Rhonda (Goheen) Gleason, Raymond Goheen, Rodney Lipscomb, Roman Lipscomb, Raelyn Lipscomb, Rachel Lipscomb, Jared Swafford, Audrie Swafford, Jennifer Ludwick, Danny Ludwick, Chris Ludwick, Ted Ludwick, Emily Ludwick. Also surviving are his loving great-grandchildren: Jarrod Goheen, Emerald Gleason, Bryce Gleason, and Calib Lipscomb.
Curt worked hard throughout his life providing for his family. He retired in 1999 from Collins & Aikmans in Marshall. When he was not at work, you could always find him outside on his tractor or in his barn fixing things for neighbors or friends. Curt lived a full life and enjoyed every moment, from cracking jokes with his grandchildren, too sitting on his porch with hot coffee and watching the deer in his field.
Curt was proceeded in death by his two sisters: Northa Stephens and Mrytle Hoyt. His surviving siblings are: Marge Houvener, Bill Adams, Harry Adams and Gene Adams.
Curt will be missed dearly and held in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 2 from 11a - 1p at the Putnam's of Tekonsha. Internment immediatly following at Lyon Lake Cemetery.
