Mr. Gust J. Afendoulis, age 78, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005. He was born in Grand Rapids on August 20, 1926 to John & Stella Gavrelidis Afendoulis and married the former Magdalene Gabriel on October 17, 1954. Mr. Afendoulis had served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He had been employed as a liquor salesman for many years and was also a driver for Quest Diagnostics for 13 years. He was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and AHEPA, the American Legion, and an avid handyman.

SURVIVORS

Wife of 50 years, Magdalene; son, John Afendoulis of CA; daughter, Nicci Ken Clark of Whitehall; 4 grandchildren, John, David, Tim & Tom Clark; brother, Clark Katie Afendoulis of Grand Rapids.

SERVICE

Monday, June 20, 2005, 11:00 AM at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. James Bogdan officiating. Interment at Restlawn Cemetery in Grand Rapids.

VISITATION

Saturday, 7-9 PM and Sunday, 2-4 & 7-9 at Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
