William Burg

William R. Burg, aged 75, of Grand Rapids, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 20, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife, Tammie; children, Brenda Burg and Rick Featherly, Bruce and Claudia Burg, Brook and Michelle Burg, Tim Beeler; grandchildren, Olivia Veenendall, Spencer Burg; brothers, Jack and Gloria Burg, Charles and Chris Burg; many nieces and nephews. Bill served our country as a member of the Navy Reserves. He spent his time enjoying racing at Berlin Raceway and going up north to his cabin with family and friends. A Memorial Service for Bill will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Rev. Bruce Mulder officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
