Phyllis D. "Diann" Asher-Eberhard

Phyllis D. "Diann" Asher-Eberhard 58, of Battle Creek, died Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Battle Creek Health Systems surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 8, 1952, the daughter of Ardill and Gladys (Howard) Asher in Hyden, KY. She was a 1970 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. Diann was the general manager for Kentucky Fried Chicken and retiring due to ill health. Diann Asher was united in marriage to H. Timothy "Tim" Eberhard on October 7, 1991, in Battle Creek. Diann is survived by her husband, her two daughters, Nicole S. (John) Davis and Sabrina A. (Brent) Nash, both of Battle Creek; three grandchildren, Alexia, Seth and Tristen Nash and six brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Bruce A. Lee. Diann attended, sang solos and drove the church bus for the Harvesters For Christ Church, loved going to casinos, dancing, playing bingo, shopping and building birdhouses. At the request of the family, friends will be received from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Friday, September 10, 2010, at the funeral home with Pastor Matt Hayman officiating. Interment will be at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
