ENGSTROM - Robert H. Engstrom, age 81, of Newaygo, fought a good fight, finished his race and was welcomed home by his Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 5, 2010. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Suzanne; children, Judy (Bernie) Beckmann, Gayle (David) Micele, Mark (Mick Wilson) Engstrom, Craig (Diane) Engstrom, Todd Engstrom (Nancy Hulst), Keith (Teresa) Sterk, Jeanette (Robert) Riddle; 20 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister, Betty DeFeyter; brothers-in-law, John (Eleanor) Piela, Jerry (Carol) Piela; sister-in-law, Arlene (Tim) Nadwodnik; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Drive. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Harbor Hospice of Muskegon. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
