Darla (Axford) Dantuma

Darla Lee (Axford) Dantuma, went to her maker Sunday, November 4, 2007. A long time resident of Grand Rapids, she graduated from Creston High School in 1954. She spent the next three years in Texas. She returned to Grand Rapids in 1957 and remained until 1976 and then moved to the Stanton area. She stayed in that area for nineteen years until 1997 when she again returned to Grand Rapids. Darla was residing at River Grove Retirement Community at the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her one and only sister Vonda Martz in 2004, her father and mother Seth and Dora Axford. She is survived by her children, William Cave Jr., Eric Brent Thompson, David Aaron (Lee) Dantuma, Kristi Ann (Dave) Fasburg and Paula Lee Pennell; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a special nephew and niece, Don and Sandra Rauch also a very dear friend, Sunny Lucas.
